"It's a date then" Tyler said playfully, letting Garnett's hoof go. He stood up, moving around to the other forefoot. He was about to lean down and take that hoof between his knees when he noticed a rather attractive guy walk past. His eyes followed the boy until he was was out of sight.
"Uh? Oh, are you cold, Natsuhi?" Tyler asked when he heard her mumble. He stood up and placed the hoof pick on the ledge of Garnett's stall. He removed his jacket and held it out to the girl. "Here, it looks like you needs it more than I do" he laughed.

"Okay," she said, though she guessed he was just playing around. She followed his gaze when a cute guy walked by and it hit her. If he looked at that guy in the same way I did he's probably gay, she thought, feeling slightly discouraged. She smiled when he offered her his jacket, taking it thankfully.
"Thank you," she said, sliding into the coat, "I was cold." She was warmer now and could think normally. She wasn't too upset by her guess, though she was a bit dissapointed. She patted Garnett, taking her mind off of the subject. "What a good girl you are," she mumbled, stroking the horse's neck.
"I should probably be getting back soon," she said with a sigh.

"Oh? Do you have somewhere you have to be?" Tyler asked, picking up the hoof pick again. He picked up Garnett's fetlock, holding it between his knees. He began picking out the dirt and other junk that had been caught in and around the hoof.
"I could walk you if you like" he offered, looking up at her as he let Garnett's hoof go. "If you don't mind waiting a little while I finish up with Garnett" he added, almost as if it were an afterthought. He only had to pick her rear hooves then place her in her stall. He couldn't well run off and leave Garnett half done after the hard ride he gave her.

"Well, not really but I have a lot of schoolwork to do," she said. She smiled. "It would be great if you'd walk with me. I don't mind waiting. The longer the better in fact." She did NOT want to go into the school anytime soon, though she knew she would have to.
"Do you think it's possible for them to make a more depressing school?" she asked, thingying her head to the side. It really depressed her to see the huge school looming around all day.

Tyler laughed. "Yeah, I do that too" he said as he came to Garnett's left rear leg. Giving a small tug on her fetlock, Tyler took it between his knees like he had the other two. If Natsuhi just happened to be looking at him now, she would get a whole eyeful of Tyler's butt. He didn't do it on purpose and wasn't even aware of the position he was in.
"Probably, however surprising it is. I've seen schools that house over ten thousand students" he said, getting to work on picking Garnett's hoof. She had a rock lodged between her shoe and the rim of her hoof. It looked uncomfortable.

"I've never rreally stayed at a school long enough to see just how big it is, nor how many people there are. I just took classes for a few days. This is my first real school." She sighed and rolled her neck, pulling Tylers coat tighter around her.
"I've never been to a school that was un-inhabited. Most of the ones I've seen were all in use since their opening day." She shrugged, looking over at the other horses.

"Oh, I never went to the schools. I just saw them when I was flying over here from Australia. I went to a small country school that only took three hundred or so students." That brought back thoughts of Andrew. Tears welled in Tyler's eyes, but he blinked them back as he tried to get the rock wedged in Garnett's shoe unlogged.
The rock flew out, the hoof pick with it. Tyler cussed lightly, releasing Garnett's hoof. He moved forward, stooping to grab the tool. However, someone's hand got there first. Tyler's eyes slowly moved up the arm, coming to the shoulder then the neck and then the face. His heart leaped. It was that guy from before. Both stood straight. "Here" said the guy, a light smile on his face.
"Thanks" Tyler said softly, looking at the floor. His face was a bright red. "No problem" said the guy before moving off in his own direction. Tyler followed him with his eyes before turning back to Natsuhi with a bright grin. "Oh, my, god. That was so totally hot" Tyler whispered hoarsely.

"I can agree with you on that, quite easily in fact," she grinned at him. "Which I've never been able to do." She smiled again, "Though you probably wouldn't be able to do that with all of my opinions. It's still cool, though." She smiled at him happily. She had never been able to agree on something like that since all of the guys she had known were straighter than sticks.
She patted Garnett. "Garnett, our new friends got some great taste," she murmered, amused but happy. She wasn't to upset by the knowledge that had been confirmed as he was still her friend.

Tyler blushed, still grinning. "Oh, I feel giddy now" he said, moving to finish Garnett's last hoof. "Well if I did agree with you on everything" he said, taking the final fetlock between his knees. "Then I'd be boring. It's fun to have little debates and what not about thins, right?" he asked, happily picking away.
When he was finally done, Tyler put the hoofpick into the bag again. "Ok Garnett, you can go make into your stall now" he said. He took the lead rope in one hand, opening the stall door with the other. Leading her in, Tyler unclipped the lead rope before slipping back out, closing the stall door behind him.

She nodded in agreement again, still grinning. "I'd get bored really fast if all the people I knew agreed with everything." She shrugged, still happy. She hadn't been able to agree on something like that since she met Donia. She bit her lip, trying to prevent herself from crying. Not now, she told herself sternly, wait until nobody's around to cry your guts out. She looked down, heaving a sigh. She tried to shrug it off, push it back into the back of her mind but it lingered in her thoughts. She sighed again, closing her eyes slowly to keep tears inside.
She had pulled herself back into a normal state of mind so Tyler wouldn't see her cry her guts out. She smiled as he came out of Garnett's stall.

"You ready?" he asked, smiling. He didn't have to be home until ten at night, so he was safe for a few hours. Tony wouldn't fret too much if he was later than that. Jack wouldn't say nything like usual.
"So uh... where am I walking ya to?" Tyler asked, shoving his hands in his pockets. Couldn't be that far. He had to walk 20 kilometres once because his dad's car broke down in the middle of nowhere. "And... before I walk you there, you don't have any big brothers, do you? I don't want them to think I'm doing anything to ya" he said. He had run into plenty of those before.

"Well, we're walking to my apartment which is just outside the school. And no, no brothers, just Liz and she's probably still at school right now." The thought of Liz calmed her down. She sighed and smiled. "And even then, Liz doesn't get into my business. She's just like that." She sighed. Liz was her best friend and really the only person she knew here except for Tyler.
"Where's your place?" she asked, thingying her head to the side.
