;; appearance
general;; Emily is not your average looking teenager. Her hair is long and blonde, your probably thinking thats normal? Well it has a bright pink streak in it. Her features, often masked by make-up. Mainly eyeliner. She often experiments with her make-up, making herself stand out. Her eyes are a deep liquid blue in colour.
Her skin is pale and almost ghostly. Her features, which i have mentioned are often masked by make-up, are also ghostly.
Her figure is quite thin, although not extremely. Although most people envy her for her figure.
She's one girl who defiantly stands out in a crowd but her clothing styles don't help.
Bright colours, as well as dark colours, depending on her mood. Mini-skirts and skinny jeans. Anything which might make her stand out more. Although she hates attention in a way.

heritage;; British
ethnicity;; White
;; personality
general;; Emily is hard to sum up. Her personality varies depending on how she is feeling that day.
She doesn't like strangers and tends to appear emotionless, almost dull, apart from her brightly coloured clothes, to most people. She will say the minimum she can and avoid most people all together. Doing the minimum she needs to to get through the school day, and keeps her school grades good to avoid being questioned or called on in class. If people attempt to talk to her she can be quite rude, depending on her mood. Its almost like she wears a mask all the time to hide the real her.
To people she knows she is bright and bubbly. She can still be emotionless she tries not to show emotions in public, even in front of family. She sometimes can't control her emotions though, like most people. She tends to become unmasked around friends. She will chat happily. A smile come over her face sometimes and her deep blue eyes will sparkle. This is how you know when Emily is happy.
Her eyes tell a lot about her mood. More then her face will, and her body actions.
To most people she's an unknown and not a lot of people know much about her.
hobbies;; Hobbies? Emily doesn't have hobbies. Well not what you'd call hobbies anyway.
dislikes;; people, strangers.
likes;; friends, family. Being alone.
;; origins
general;; Emily's family seems pretty average to most people. She has 2 brothers, one younger and one older. Her mum and dad normal. Okay so they have very good jobs and a nice house and can afford little luxuries that other people might not be able to afford but they didn't rub it in or anything so who was to judge them?
Not many people know that Stephs great granddad came here to school. He wasn't your ordinary student either. Not even Steph knows the truth about her granddad. Only that when he dad heard this place had re-opened he instantly sent his two oldest children there. Even if they did protest after some of the stories there granddad had told them.
But Emily thinks this new school could be quite good...fun

What was it about hospitals that seemed to make you shiver? Make your skin crawl?
Perhaps it was the smell, the stench, of death, of illness? Perhaps it was the muffled cries of a parent getting some bad news? Perhaps it was the way the doctors and nurses hurried along, chattering? or the beep of the machines as you walk past a ward?
Perhaps it was the thought that someone you love, someone close to you, a family member was in pain? Was suffering and you hold no power to stop it, even though you wanted to.
The music from my mp3 player blasted in my ear as i walked along behind my mother, and auntie. Book held firmly in my hand, i really couldn't stand these places. They made me feel ill. I shivered, despite the hospital being warm, as we approached the ward where my brother was.
Although i wouldn't show it, i never did, i did love my brother and i was worried. I held two balloons in my other hand. What was it about balloons and hospitals? Balloons always reminded me of parties, fun times, the bright colours did not belong in a place like this. But it was all we could bring. He wasn't allowed anything to eat, or drink for that matter. He got bad hay fever so flowers were also off the list.
I guess your wondering now whats wrong with him? Its nothing big, nothing life threatening, well not really anyway. It was Crohn's disease. Something that infected your intestines. He'd come to have a part of his intestines removed, the most infected part because all over medication had failed. I felt sorry for him, despite being jealous because he seemed to be getting more attention then me. Even though i was getting a hell of a lot of attention myself. It's not every day that your mum and dad buy you a gorgeous big horse and go into debt. That was almost a year ago and they were still paying the debt off. I was grateful, even if i didn't show it sometimes. I loved my mum and dad, and all they did for me. Which was a hell of a lot. I guess what made me jealous was because if it hadn't been for him getting so ill then i wouldn't have been sent to board at school, which i had surprisingly enjoyed and planned to go back and board after this long summer holidays.
Summer, the thought made me laugh silently to myself. This didn't exactly feel like summer. First there was to be no holiday, for many reasons, apart from going up to york to stay with my auntie. Secondly because the weather was so rubbish. I loved everyday the sun did shine and spent most of that time with my horse.
As much as i complained about the holiday, however, i didn't care really. I enjoyed being at home, seeing friends and spending time at the yard. I enjoyed going to my aunties and seeing my best friend, Jessica. Despite the fact that she had disappeared off on holiday to somewhere hot. Needless to say i'd see her when she got back.
I paused for a second as we entered the room and gave a weak smile and a laugh as my auntie handed my brother the fish balloon she'd got him and announced "We found Nemo!"
