Esperanza is very determined, she is the type of person who never gives up and usually bounces back from a set back. Her strong personality has developed over the years as she brought the kids up wile her husband was away working. She is normally kind natured but will not hesitate in defending herself or anyone in her family if the need arises.
Her teaching methods are sometimes deemed as somewhat controversial, she likes students to participate and give their opinions on the material they are reading and she encourages freedom of speech. She hates students who don’t like to get involved and does all she can to encourage individuality. Of course this doesn’t mean letting the students become lax on their uniforms or breaking the rules and she can be very strict when it comes to these matters.

;; origins
general;;
Esperanza was born to Marcus and Isabella Cruz in Sunny Boulevard, they where rather well off her mother being a playwright and father owning a mobile phone business. Esperanza grew up with pretty much everything she wanted she attended the prep school and was doing rather well for herself. Then one day the disappearances started at the school, she was only 13 and the thought of students dying for no explained reason other than a ghost sent shivers up her spine. But she tried not to think about it and get on with her work.
Much to her upset the school was closed in her third year there, her parents sent her away to an all girls boarding school at the other end of the country much to her distaste. She spent her teenage years causing havoc for the teachers and sneaking out with her friends into town to meet the boys who lived there. She wasn’t a reckless girl but she always had a sense of adventure and loved the adrenaline that pumped around her body when she was almost caught. She was caught once or twice and often on her visits home was lectured about her unrefined behavior.
She finally graduated and returned to Sunny Boulevard where she attended the college there studying to be a teacher. An odd choice her parents thought for someone who found it so difficult to follow the rules but it seemed Esme had set her heart on working with young people.
It was at college she met Eric, the two where on the same course although he was a year ahead of her. They hit it off from the start finding that their differences where something they admired in each other and they always managed to amuse each other.
It wasn’t long after they graduated that the two married, they where lucky in the fact that Eric had inherited the old Sunny Boulevard school building off his father and a lot of money with it. Esperanza started work at the primary school in Sunny Boulevard while Eric went away to work at a high school a few towns away. The two debated selling the building as it would be too expensive to repair to live in or to redo as a school, however two years later they where lucky enough to get a grant off the government and were soon able to start redoing it as a school.
The two became extremely busy as they organized the opening of the school neither very worried about the so called ‘ghost’. Esperanza fell pregnant and the two couldn’t be more pleased, their family had finally started. It came as a shock to both of them when the doctor told them she was carrying twins and Esme did worry about how they would manage but she wasn’t going to voice these worries, a family’s what she wanted and a family was what she was getting.
She gave birth to two healthy twin boys nine months later; Beau came first shortly followed by Andres. No mother could love her children more than Esme did; okay they often drove her crazy but she loved them for it.
The redecorating of the school put a strain on both Esme and Eric and the two found that it strained there marriage as problems occurred. Esmes temper was much shorter than it used to be and she was often exhausted very easily. It was only after a trip to the doctors did she discover she was pregnant again. Time flew by and it wasn’t long before they had another addition to the family, London Marcy Stone.
It was after the birth of London Esme became very depressed and was diagnosed with post natal depression. She was finding it difficult to attach to London and suddenly wanted nothing to do with her twins, something which was to have an obvious effect on the young children. She was prescribed medicine to help with the depression but it was a year before she fully got over it.
Three years later and the school was finally ready to be opened, the pressure was now on for everything to go smoothly and again their relationship suffered.
The school has been open two years now and the couples are struggling to repair their relationship while the children discover what life may hold for them.

It was a cold early morning and Madison had just apparated in Knockturn alley, it was a couple of years ago when she had first passed her apparation test but she still loved the way she could get anywhere she wanted in the blink of an eye. She hadn’t had much problems passing her test and had been very pleased with herself certain that she would impress her mother with her such quick ways of picking up on how to do it and her quick pass, but of course Madison could never impress her mother as she was never around to hear and if she was would she ever care? No she was too keen on her other clever sons who could really bring something to her name not one of Rodolphus daughters. Madison lowered her black hood as she glanced around Knockturn alley; she crossed the road and made her way towards a robes shop window.
The wind toyed with her hair, and she pouted no matter how long she spent on it the wind would always be there to mess it back up again. A woman knocked into Madison as she rushed down the alley, she glared remembering the last time she had visited Kockturn alley, it had been with her father and he had brought her her first set of earrings, Madison had been so pleased. It had been awhile and she would have normally avoided it when she could, but today she had to get something special.
Running her hands through her hair she plotted the best and quickest way to get into Borgin and Burkes get the item she wanted and get out as quick as possible with out drawing any attention to herself. While pondering this she didn’t notice her half – brother apparate into Knockturn Alley and nearly cause an accident with a wagon. She only noticed him when his cold sneering voice echoed behind her.
Madison didn’t react at first; this was the last place she would have expected to have seen him and didn’t register that he was actually there believing he was a figment of her imagination. Of course her imagination wasn’t that good and yes it was him. Flicking her long brown hair she turned slowly to face him fixing a look of calmness on him, she knew how he liked to wind her up and this time was a time when he wouldn’t succeed. Madison was going to keep her cool today, she couldn’t have him mess things up for her.
“Darius!” she exclaimed with a forced tone of happiness, “How pleasant seeing you down here?” she said folding her arms and raising an eyebrow at him ignoring his remark about what she was doing her “I wasn’t expecting to see you down here, Especially as your at school, does Hogwarts allow students to visit Knockturn alley during free time? You see I wasn’t aware of that rule and we wouldn’t want my dear half brother getting into any trouble now would we?” She said her upper curling in a crude smile.
